Distributed Vertical Model Integration

چکیده
E Sistent financial pressures within the Department of Defense have sparked increasing interest in the promise of software reuse as a mechanism to achieve greater efficiency in developing and applying models and simulations to support the systems acquisition process. A perpetual obstacle to the widespread proliferation of reusable software code within 000 is that most existing, older-technology ("legacy") models are extremely difficult to reuse within more modem software architectures without significant redesign. This article reports results of an experiment demonstrating the utility of distributed computing environments as a means to reuse detailed software representations of systemor subsystem-level hardware components through direct access from less detailed (higher-order) models.

It is impossible to develop and retain the Competitive advantage and gain success without Implementing strategy. The method of strategy selection is one of the most important challenges for the strategists. Different models have been formulated to enable managers to choose the appropriate strategies and some of these models are just formulated for the selection of vertical integration strategie...
متن کاملIntegration Scheme for SINS/GPS System Based on Vertical Channel Decomposition and In-Motion Alignment
Accurate alignment and vertical channel instability play an important role in the strap-down inertial navigation system (SINS), especially in the case that precise navigation has to be achieved over long periods of time. Due to poor initialization as well as the cumulative errors of low-cost inertial measurement units (IMUs), initial alignment is not sufficient to achieve required navigation ac...

متن کاملAn Empirical Analysis of Vertical Integration Determinants among Peasant Farmers in Northern Algeria
This study aims to analyze the determinants of vertical integration (ownership and contract-ing) among peasant farmers in Northern Algeria. The choice of asset control is between ownership and a simple contracting. Thus, the integration of vertical stages of agricultural produc-tion leads to higher gross margins, influences the choice of marketing and supply channels, and improves market partic...

متن کاملSpace as a Semiotic Object: A Three-Dimensional Model of Vertical Structure of Space in Calvino’s Invisible Cities
Following the “spatial turn” of the last 3 decades in humanities and social sciences and the structure of semiotic object, this research studies space as the main semiotic object of Calvino’s (1972) Invisible Cities. Significance of this application resides in examining the possibility of providing a more concrete methodology based on the integration of Zoran’s (1984) 3 vertical levels of const...
